This Privacy Policy describes how Sweeps.work ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you visit sweeps.work (the "Site") or participate in a promotion offered on the Site, including the Sweeps.work $1,000 Cash Giveaway.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide

When you enter a promotion on the Site, we collect the email address you submit with your entry and your responses to the entry quiz. If you are selected as a winner, we will additionally collect the information needed to verify your eligibility and deliver your prize, which may include your full name, date of birth, state of residence, taxpayer information (IRS Form W-9, including Social Security Number, as required by law for prizes of $600 or more), and the payment details for your chosen delivery method (Cash App identifier, Apple Cash contact information, or bank account and routing number for ACH transfer). If you contact us by email, we collect the contents of your message.

Information collected automatically

When you visit the Site, we and our service providers automatically collect certain technical information, including your IP address, device and browser type, operating system, referring URL, pages viewed, timestamps, and approximate (city-level) location derived from your IP address. This information is collected through cookies, pixels, and similar technologies, including advertising and analytics tags such as the Meta Pixel and our click-tracking software, which help us measure the performance of our advertising campaigns and attribute visits and entries to their traffic source.

2. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to: administer promotions, including recording entries, selecting and verifying winners, delivering prizes, and complying with tax reporting obligations; operate, maintain, and improve the Site; measure, attribute, and optimize our advertising campaigns; send you emails, including entry confirmations, winner notifications, and — where permitted — marketing and promotional emails about offers we think may interest you; prevent fraud, duplicate entries, and abuse of our promotions; and comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Use and Official Rules.

3. Email Marketing

By submitting your email address with your entry, you agree to receive promotion-related emails from us. We may also send you marketing emails about other offers. You can opt out of marketing emails at any time by clicking the "unsubscribe" link included in every marketing email or by contacting us at support@sweeps.work. Opting out of marketing emails does not affect promotion-administration emails (such as a winner notification) for a promotion you have already entered.

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share information with: (a) service providers who perform services on our behalf, such as email delivery, click tracking and analytics, website hosting, and payment processing, who are permitted to use the information only to provide those services to us; (b) advertising platforms such as Meta, in the form of hashed identifiers and event data used for campaign measurement and optimization; (c) professional advisors, and tax and government authorities where required by law (including IRS reporting of prizes); (d) law enforcement or other parties where we believe disclosure is required by law or necessary to protect our rights, the safety of any person, or the integrity of a promotion; and (e) a successor entity in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. Some of the sharing described in (b) may be considered "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising or "targeted advertising" under certain U.S. state privacy laws; you may opt out as described in Section 7.

5. Cookies and Tracking Choices

Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies through their settings. You can limit Meta's use of your data for advertising through your Facebook or Instagram ad preferences. Note that blocking cookies may affect our ability to attribute your entry and the functioning of parts of the Site. The Site does not currently respond to "Do Not Track" browser signals, but honors opt-out preference signals (such as Global Privacy Control) where required by applicable state law.

6. Data Retention and Security

We retain entry information for as long as needed to administer the promotion, satisfy legal and tax record-keeping requirements (generally up to seven (7) years for winner and tax records), resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information; however, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your state of residence (including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, Virginia, and other states with comprehensive privacy laws), you may have the right to: know or access the personal information we hold about you; request correction of inaccurate information; request deletion of your personal information; opt out of targeted advertising or the "sharing" of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising; and not receive discriminatory treatment for exercising your rights. To exercise any of these rights, email us at support@sweeps.work with the subject line "Privacy Request" and the right you wish to exercise. We will verify your request using the email address associated with your entry and respond within the timeframe required by applicable law. You may appeal a refusal by replying to our decision, and authorized agents may submit requests on your behalf where permitted by law.

8. Children's Privacy

The Site is not directed to individuals under eighteen (18) years of age, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a person under 18, we will delete it and void any associated entry.

9. Third-Party Platforms and Payment Providers

Prize delivery via Cash App, Apple Cash, or ACH is processed through the applicable payment provider or financial institution, whose handling of your information is governed by their own privacy policies. This Site and its promotions are in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Meta Platforms, Inc., Apple Inc., or Block, Inc.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Material changes will be communicated as required by applicable law.
